Berita atau artikel merupakan satu hal yang paling dicari dalam internet. Diinternet berita ada berbagai macam golongan seperti pengetahuan, teknologi, politik, olahraga atau tentang kehidupan. Website yang memuat berita biasanya mempunyai pangsa sendiri misalnya untuk berita ponsel maka yang sering datang adalah para penggemar ponsel. Oleh karena itu, sebelum membuat website tentukan dahulu hal yang akan dibahas.

Dalam membuat website yang memuat berita akan memerlukan beberapa halaman yang saling pendukung. Namun dapat dibedakan menjadi :

Halaman Penampil Berita
Halaman Admin

Halaman halaman tersebut harus direncanakan bentuknya. Untuk halaman kecuali halaman admin harus ditampilkan sebagus mungkin dengan ukuran file yang kecil agar menarik dimata pengunjung dan cepat saat dibuka. Hal ini dimaksudkan agar pengunjung dapat dengan tenang dan senang membaca berita yang dimuat.
